I get the same message when running "/etc/rc.d/init.d/postgresql start". I have just installed 7.0.3 rpms from ftp.postgresql.org <ftp://ftp.postgresql.org> . I'm running RedHat Linux 6.1 . I've never seen this message either. Something to do with the new version of PostgreSQL? Thanks.
