see if you can start it with a capitalized -E

actmgr=> \dt
QUERY: SELECT usename, relname, relkind, relhasrules FROM pg_class,
pg_user WHERE usesysid = relowner and ( relkind = 'r') and relname !~
'^pg_'  ORDER BY relname
