Solaris 7 Compiling

I'm trying to compile on Solaris 7 x86 (the binaries you have require
libncurses and i don't have them) and am getting this every time..

jonz@elijah.thecoffeehouse.com(232) % ./configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking host system type... i386-pc-solaris2.7
checking echo setting...
checking setting template to... solaris_i386_gcc
./configure: conftest.sh: not found

I can't figure out why i'm getting this  do you have any idea?
