Seems you did not set the replica identity for updating the tuple.
Try this before updating, and it should work.

ALTER TABLE toasted_key REPLICA IDENTITY USING INDEX toasted_key_pkey;

or

ALTER TABLE toasted_key REPLICA IDENTITY FULL.
