We've revised the whole patch set.
Things changed:
 - use localizable printf format, compatible with 32 and 64 bit xids
 - replace str2unt64 and similar functions with strtou64 call
 - rebase onto current master branch
 - use proper type modifiers for sscanf calls

What about adding 0003 patch into [1] to deliver it into PG15. I think it's
quite possible.
