as of right now, I suspect what I need are the following files from a 
recent Solaris 64bit build...

    include/server/pg_config.h
    lib/64/pgxs/src/Makefile.global

there are a few more files that could be involved, but AFAIK, they are 
invariant or don't matter to my plugin builds....
