You didn't do something silly > like closing stderr, did you? You were right. This bug disappeared after I recompiled pq lib. Never before have I seen such compile troubles. To be sure, I linked libpq against Electric Fence, and it didn't ever complain. Thank you for cooperation. But I have one more bugreport, this time I'm sure it is real :) -- Leon.
