Would you be willing to pull current sources and see how it goes there? If you can use CVS then see http://www.postgresql.org/devel-corner/docs/postgres/anoncvs.htm otherwise there is a snapshot tarball generated nightly in ftp://ftp.postgresql.org/pub/dev/ Note that current sources are NOT stable enough for production use, though there's no reason not to use them for development. regards, tom lane
