I've just installed pgsql on debian woody.
when I do "psql connect postgres"

I get "psql: FATAL 1:  IDENT authentication failed for
user "postgres""

this is my hba.conf:

local        all                                      
    ident sameuser
host         all         127.0.0.1     255.0.0.0      
    ident sameuser
host         all         0.0.0.0       0.0.0.0        
    reject

what do I need to do?
