Yup. I tested Peter's code for him before he checked it in --- it works, at least on 10.20. The pstat man page says pstat was developed by HP, so I guess it probably is HPUX only :-(. Wish HP were a little more committed to following existing standards when there's no reason for a new one. regards, tom lane
