Subject: Bug#50579: Discrepancies between libpq++ and its documentation

    Package: postgresql-dev
    Version: 6.5.2-3
    Severity: wishlist

In the C++ binding, PgConnection::ExecTuplesOk(const char *query) will
return TRUE if the query succeeds, even if there are no tuples to be
retrieved from it. The documentation ("Query Execution Functions")
claims that TRUE is only returned if the query succeeds and there are
tuples to be retrieved. One or the other should probably be fixed.

Documentation updated. You know, I always wondered why we didn't get
more bug reports directly from Linux distributors because I know they
review PostgreSQL bugs. Seems we are getting them now.
