TCL/TK configure problems
Stan Brown <stanb@awod.com> — 1999-01-10T00:41:21Z
could soemeone explain to me how the tcl/tk configure stuff is suposed to worl? I built 6.4.2 on my HP-UX machine a week or so agao, and had to do some _really_ strange things to get it working. Tonite I tried to build on FreeBSD (sort of a reference paltform, no?), and still had the folowint error, during configure: checking for tkConfig.sh... no configure: warning: TK support disabled; Tk configuration script missing I used teh --with-tcl and --with tk configure flags, so what's going on here? -- Stan Brown stanb@netcom.com 843-745-3154 Westvaco Charleston SC. -- Windows 98: n. useless extension to a minor patch release for 32-bit extensions and a graphical shell for a 16-bit patch to an 8-bit operating system originally coded for a 4-bit microprocessor, written by a 2-bit company that can't stand for 1 bit of competition. - (c) 1999 Stan Brown. The configure script wrongly thinks, tcl and tk are to be found at the same loaction.
